Who I Am

I am an AHA Certified Instructor, specializing in ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification and recertification for healthcare professionals and students across Long Island, New York. Over the years, I’ve taught thousands of nurses, helping them enhance their skills, boost job satisfaction, and stay up-to-date with the latest in healthcare practices and regulations.

I bring a unique perspective to nursing education. My hands-on approach stems from decades of experience working directly with nurses, patients, hospital leadership, and physicians. For over 25 years, I served as the Director of Nursing Education and Informatics at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

My journey as an educator began during my time as an ICU nurse at Staten Island University Hospital, where I discovered my passion for teaching. Since then, I’ve been committed to empowering nurses to excel in their profession.

More About My Mission

As the Director of Medical Education at Dickson Keanaghan, LLC, a company my husband Joe and I founded, I’ve worked with over 700 organizations, including hospitals, surgicenters, medical and dental offices, colleges, and more. From the ICU to the classroom, I’ve always considered myself a "nurse’s nurse"—bringing real-world experience into everything I teach.
