About the Author:

Dr. Erin Kunz is a distinguished podiatric surgeon and educator, born and raised on Long Island. She holds dual BS degrees in Biology and Anthropology from Stony Brook University and a doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Kunz completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency at NYU-Winthrop Hospital, where she was Chief Resident. Her roles have included research assistant at Stony Brook University and Chief of Operations for Stony Brook University’s C-CERT. Dr. Kunz is now a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook School of Medicine, specializing in Vascular Surgery.
